First Day productions Presents- Beer n Bingo Night, sponsored by S.K.I Beer Distributors; a fundraiser for the Sold Out NYC production of First Day, a new Flay (film + play= flay)

April 8, 2004--FIRST DAY, a new Flay by Matt Samalin and David Ledoux, is agritty and visceral tale about Chris and Hanna; a common couple. We join them on thier journey, as they deal with the most important 2 days of thier lives. Unemployment, love, sex, relationships and sacrifice are all explored...in a unfoseen circumstance. A T.V acts as your narrator thru this labryinth of lightning fast story telling using a new concept of theater never seen before by the NYC audience. Executive Producer and actress in First Day, Justine Stock states " This play raises communal questions and concerns, What is our relationship to the media? the relationship between comfort and passion? the employed and unemployed? These are all explored. But all we can do is simply ask the questions, dramatize them; you must search yourself fot the answer.

In honor and to benefit this Sold Out show, April 14th at Mickys Blue Room-6:30 until 9pm: A great dive-Y bar in the east village is where this freaky Beer n Bingo Night will take place. Located at 171 Ave. C btw.10th and 11th. The evening will commence at 6:30 with the trailer of First Day following an introduction to our talented cast. Then Beer n BINGO till 9pm. Free admission, free finger food and 1 free beer upon arrival for BINGO. Plus our very happy hours, $4 drink special from 4:30 till 9pm, this includes well liqour, beer and wine. There is a rockin jukebox, a pool table, arcade games and BINGO!!! Raffles prizes include Giants tix, Yankees tix, Dinner for 2's, Gym membership, paintings and ohh so much more...
